This week, we received an update on both of our yearlings from Wilde Racing!

According to the team, our Tosen Stardom x Petroica colt is “doing well in the paddock.” He continues to grow, and they are “happy with his development at this very early stage.”

Similarly, our Artie Schiller x Lady Paulina filly “continues to do well in the paddock.” She, too, is growing, and the team are pleased with her development.

If you compare these photos to the ones in this earlier blog post, you can how much they’ve grown!

Both yearlings are enjoying their time in the paddock, eating and socialising, while they grow. We anticipate that they’ll start their education at the end of this year, depending on how they mature.

We look forward to giving you more detailed information about the education process when the yearlings reach that stage. In the meantime, know that the process is one where, essentially, the horses will learn to do what we want them to do, and their bodies gain the strength required for them to do these things safely. They will learn the skills and commands that they need to begin training.
