Both of our yearlings have now begun their breaking in

It’s an exciting time for us here at Toward Reward! When purchasing weanlings, it can seem like a lifetime patiently waiting for them to grow into yearlings ready for breaking in. Seeing them under the saddle for the first time feels like finally taking the training wheels off.

Our Artie Schiller x Lady Paulina filly has now joined our Tosen Stardom x Petroica colt in Geelong at B. W. Pearson Horse Breaking! We’ll be able to update you on how she progresses shortly!

Brad Pearson has been taking his time with our colt, admitting that he still has a few quirks that he is ironing out. The colt will likely need a few more weeks in Geelong before returning to Wilde Racing’s Warrnambool stable. Brad has told us that he has come a long way in the past fortnight after a slow but steady start. In the video we’ve included below, you see him working on the outside.
