We have some very exciting news! On Monday, the 24th of October, Shuriken won his race debut in Race 3, the 1200m Ross Fitzgerald Concrete 3YO Maiden Plate, at Casterton! You can watch his magnificent win here.
We purchased Shuriken as a weaning in 2020, and he was Toward Reward’s first runner! So we could not be prouder or more grateful for him giving us such a fairy tale result!

Shuriken is enjoying a quiet week this week and had a long recovery wade at the beach on Tuesday morning. We can’t wait to see what he achieves next!
In other exciting news, shares in our latest racing prospect, Our Valley Star, are now available! And there’s already only 60% remaining!
Our Valley Star is a three-year-old gelding by ZOUSTAR and was a $120,000 Inglis Premier yearling purchase. Group 1 winners SUNLIGHT, ZOUTORI and MIZZY are all by the champion sire ZOUSTAR, to name a few!
The gelding is already educated and ready to race, so we won’t have to wait long to see him make his debut for his new ownership group! He’s enjoying lush spring paddocks at the moment before he returns to work towards the end of the year. He will be trained by Patrick Kearney out of his on-course Ballarat stables.

Paulartes is still in work and preparing for her race debut! She was moved from Ballarat to Warrnambool a few weeks ago and has since completed an educational jump out on the synthetic at Warrnambool. She’ll take on her first official jump out in the coming days, so watch this space!
We are so close to announcing our Harry Angel x Catskill Roc colt‘s official racing name! We are now just waiting for Racing Australia to approve what his ownership group has chosen. He is also still in work, though likely to return to the paddock soon for a well-deserved break. The Wilde Racing team have nothing but praise for how he’s tackled his first preparation!
