We are delighted to announce the acquisition of an impressive RUSSIAN CAMELOT colt out of the 2026 Inglis Premier Sale Supreme Thoroughbreds draft. We’ve been working hard to secure the right one, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have landed a colt of this calibre.

This marks an exciting milestone as our first horse to be syndicated and raced in Tasmania. Under the guidance of leading trainer Stuart Gandy, he will be aimed to knock off the mainland raiders and secure local victories in the Tasmanian Guineas, Launceston Guineas and Tasmanian Derby as a 3YO, and then set for the local Cups as he continues to build through his racing career. This presents as a rare opportunity to secure a share in a high-quality staying colt from Victoria’s flagship sale to be trained out of Tasmania, with opportunities to target some nice races on the mainland.

This colt is bred on the same exceptional cross that has produced 7 individual stakes winners at a staggering strike rate of 19% stakes winners to starters. This proven nick is headlined by world-class G1 talent, including German Derby winner SAMMARCO (IRE) and the 2025 Criterium de Saint-Cloud victor, PIERRE BONNARD (IRE).

Nominated and paid up for VOBIS Silver, VOBIS Gold, VOBIS Platinum, and is eligible for the VOBIS Sires $1M 2YO Showdown, $500K 3YO Guineas. This leaves us with plenty of options to return to the mainland and target the rich VOBIS Gold Exclusive Races in open grade.

He was transported straight from the sales complex to the lush green paddocks of Leneva Park for a well-earned post-sale break. He'll spell for the next month to allow him time to further grow and develop before commencing his breaking-in and barrier education. Once his initial education phase is wrapped up at Leneva Park, he’ll be on the boat to Tasmania to begin his racing career with Stuart Gandy and his team out of their Hobart stable.
