D’ARGENTO x LIVVY LASS FILLY

Introducing Toward Reward’s latest racing prospect, a flashy grey filly by D’ARGENTO. This filly was secured at the 2025 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for an absolute steal at just $70k + GST out of the Bowness Stud draft.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the D’ARGENTO’s for some time now, securing our very own Statuario back at the 2023 Gold Sale, seeing him work through his paces as a young horse, and into a fantastic first racing preparation. The stars have aligned again here with this gorgeous filly, being the first of the D’ARGENTO’s to tick all the same boxes for the team at TR, our man Lenny Russo of Bluegrass Bloodstock, and trainers Emma-Lee & David Browne of Sparta Racing. This filly definitely shares that same quality and has a lot of Statuario about her, who was also a very stylish mover as a yearling. She’ll be targeted at all of the 3YO Classics with the ultimate goal of getting her in the $1M G1 VRC Oaks as a Spring 3YO.

She will head straight to the Sparta Racing agistment property for a well-earned break to let down after what was a long sales preparation, with an aim to commence her educational preparation at the start of April.

The first crop of D’ARGENTO’s are now 3YOs and featured in some of the biggest races in the Spring, and are well poised to strike in the Autumn. There were three D’ARGENTO’s in both the $2M G1 Spring Champion Stakes & $1M G1 VRC Oaks, which is always a fantastic sign of things to come. Silver Dagger took out the Thousand Guineas in Hobart and most recently finished 2nd in the Listed Stutt Stakes. Silva ‘N’ Suave finished 2nd in the G3 Ken Russell Memorial Classic as a 2YO. Last but not least, our very own Statuario finished 2nd in the Listed TAB Trophy on Melbourne Cup Day, recently ran 5th in the G2 Autumn Stakes, and will now head to the $1M G1 Australian Guineas on the 1st of March. He has a cheeky nom loaded up for the $2.5M G1 All Star Mile, and long range noms in both the $750K G1 Rosehill Guineas & $2M ATC Derby. He was enormous first up and has the stable and connections very excited for the weeks and months to come.

• His sensational 14 start career also included two G1 placings, finishing 2nd to Hartnell in the G1 Epsom Handicap (1600M), and 3rd behind the legendary Winx in the G1 Winx Stakes (1400M). He won twice as a 2YO and also placed 4th in the G1 Doncaster Handicap (1600M) as a 3YO.
