Introducing Toward Reward’s latest racing prospect, an athletic well-balanced filly by the exciting first season sire PIERATA. This filly was secured at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for an absolute steal at $50,000.00 + GST out of the Widden Stud draft.

The filly ticked off her debut jump out in style winning her heat impressively at Ballarat on Wednesday the 10th of April. She was a little tardy away which is to be expected in their first attempt, and settled a good 4L back from the leader. To the fillies credit, she maintained herself exceptionally in the run, and ran between other horses to take the lead, showing her competitive edge to win. The filly is trained by Patrick Kearney out of his on course Ballarat stable and Pat and his team absolutely adore her. We look forward to seeing what she is able to achieve over the coming months!

This filly gives the stable the feel of a horse that will relish the mile, so the ultimate goal will be to target her at a race like the $1M G1 Thousand Guineas as a Spring 3YO. She is an exceptional type and an exciting prospect for the ownership group and the team at TR moving forward.
