An update on Shuriken, Paulartes and our Harry Angel x Catskill Roc colt

Since our last blog post, Shuriken and Paulartes have continued their preparations and remain on track for their first jump outs.

Of Paulartes, Brad Pearson has said, “The deeper she’s getting into her preparation, the better she’s actually going.” Of Shuriken, Wilde Racing’s Ben Casanelia has said, “He’s sort of been a bit up and down this preparation, but his last month or so has been really, really good. Ben (O’Farrell)’s happy with him.” We’ve included the pair’s latest video updates below!

Last week, Paulartes was moved from Geelong back to Warrnambool, so her next update will come from there! And our Harry Angel x Catskill Roc colt was transported to Brad Pearson’s property to commence his education process! He’ll spend the next 6-8 weeks being broken in before returning to the paddock for a well-earned break.

The team at Wilde Racing have affectionately given the colt the stable name ‘Gecko’! They chose the name because his brand looks like a gecko footprint. We think it suits him!
